Indian Stock Market Today closed in Green . Today the Nifty hit the 14 month high level and all day the market remain above the margin. Data showing heavy buying by foreign institutional investors over the past few sessions and expectations of more economic reforms from the government following the recent announcements of liberalisation of FDI in retail, broadcasting and aviation industries, helped keep sentiment upbeat right through the session.
Nifty Closing Session Today : The NSE Nifty ended at 5,703, up 54 points over the previous close. Day’s high: 5,735; Day’s low: 5,683.
Sensex closing Session today : The BSE Sensex closed at 18,762, up 183 points over the previous close. Day's high: 18,870; Day's low: 18,698.
Dollar / Rupee is at 52.85, down 0.30% ; Euro / Rupee is at 68.31, down 0.03% and Pound / Rupee is at 85.58, down 0.40%.
