Nifty, NSE, BSE Closing on 20 March :-

It was a choppy trade in the markets today with global pressures, too, adding their woos to the volatility. Consumer durables, realty, FMCG and banking supported the indices well while weakness primarily came from auto. The Sensex closed at 17316, up 43 points from its previous close, and the Nifty shut shop at 5275, up 18 points. The CNX Midcap index closed with 1% gain while the BSE Smallcap index was down 0.03% in today's trade. The market breadth was negative with advances at 681 against declines of 750 on the NSE. The top Nifty gainers were JP Associates, PNB, BPCL and Sun Pharma while the biggest losers included Tata Motors, Coal India, Hindalco and HCL Tech.   

Intraday Trading Tips for Day after Tomorrow  Wednesday 21 March:-

Hold GVK Power and buy on decline.

Buy Titan Industries at Rs 237-238 with a target of Rs 280 and stop loss of Rs 230

Hold ITC with a medium-term target of Rs 235-245, 

Sell L & T on rallies with a target of Rs 1240 and stop loss of Rs 1360

Hold Mahindra & Mahindra with a target of Rs 720
